White Willow Bark

 

The use of willow bark dates to the time of Hippocrates when people were advised chew on the bark to reduce fever and inflammation. Willow bark has been used throughout centuries for the treatment of pain, headache and inflammation. In the 1800s, Willow bark was used to develop aspirin.
